Simple, student-friendly lesson policies.

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson so we can offer the time to another family or your teacher.

Twelve hours notice is preferred when cancelling for illness. If you become ill the day of your lesson, please call us by 11am and we'll excuse you.

One month written notice is required for resignations, given at the beginning of a lesson cycle (typically four weeks in advance).

Please give us a minimum of two weeks notice before going on vacation so we can plan around your schedule.

Makeup lessons owing (MLO) are offered to students who follow the cancellation and illness policies above. Makeups cannot replace a regular scheduled lesson, and cannot be taken once a student has resigned.

Accounts must be paid in full at the start of each four-week lesson cycle, regardless of the number of makeup lessons owing. Lessons must be prepaid to reserve your weekly time slot.

If a teacher is absent, we'll arrange a qualified substitute to cover the lesson. If you'd prefer to be excused instead, we'll do our best to schedule a makeup within regular hours of operation.

Payment is due every four weeks in advance to secure your ongoing lesson time. If an account is in arrears, the reserved spot may be released.
