From Rosedale it is about ten minutes up Mount Pleasant outside of rush hour, or a short trip on Bayview. From Forest Hill, it is roughly twelve minutes east along Eglinton without traffic, and longer at school pickup times. The studio is at 214 Laird Drive, 2nd Floor, with parking on Laird and nearby side streets.
Our piano faculty prepares students for Royal Conservatory exams from the Preparatory levels through Grade 10 and ARCT, led by classical specialist Lili Khachatryan, who holds an ARCT Piano Performer's Diploma. If exams are on your mind, our family guide to RCM exams explains what to expect. Exam preparation is optional, and students who would rather play for enjoyment are equally welcome.
Choose from piano, guitar and bass, drums, voice and woodwinds. Lessons are one-on-one and tailored to the student, from first-time beginners to advanced players. Longer 45 and 60 minute lessons suit students working toward exams.
We are open weekdays from noon to 10:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 6:00pm. After-school slots between 3:30pm and 6:30pm fill first, so contact us a few weeks before you would like to start.
Lessons are $40 for 30 minutes, $55 for 45 minutes and $70 for 60 minutes, billed in four-lesson cycles. There are no registration or administration fees, and music lessons are not subject to tax. Your first lesson is a free trial.
