Leaside Music School has been teaching music since 1965. Our studio is at 214 Laird Drive, a few minutes' walk from Bayview and Eglinton, with private lessons in piano, guitar and bass, drums, voice and woodwinds for children, teens and adults.

The studio is on the second floor at 214 Laird Drive, a few minutes' walk from Bayview and Eglinton and on the Leaside High School side of the neighbourhood. There is parking on Laird and nearby side streets. If you would rather not travel, online lessons are also available when getting to the studio is difficult.
We are open Monday to Friday from noon to 10:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
We teach students from age four to adults. Children and teens can come after school, and adults can book evenings or weekends. Choose from piano, guitar and bass, drums, voice and woodwinds. Every lesson is one-on-one with a working musician, and your first lesson is a free trial.
Weekday slots between 3:30pm and 6:30pm fill first, so we suggest getting in touch a few weeks before the term you want to start. If after-school times are full, we can also look at later weekday evenings and weekends.
The school's casual monthly recitals are held at The Groove Room, in St. Augustine of Canterbury Anglican Church on Bayview Avenue. Students perform solo or with others in a friendly setting. See the recitals page.
Lessons are $40 for 30 minutes, $55 for 45 minutes and $70 for 60 minutes, billed in four-lesson cycles. There are no registration or administration fees, and music lessons are not subject to tax. Your first lesson is a free trial.
