Getting here from East York

Most East York addresses are roughly ten to fifteen minutes away by car, depending on whether you come up Broadview, Pape or through Thorncliffe Park. From the DVP, you can come in via Millwood or Overlea. The studio is at 214 Laird Drive, 2nd Floor, with parking on Laird and nearby side streets.

Lesson times that fit East York schedules

We open at noon on weekdays and run through 10:00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. That covers after-school lessons for East York students as well as evenings and weekends for working adults. Weekday slots between 3:30pm and 6:30pm fill first, so contact us a few weeks ahead if you need one.

Rentals and getting started

You do not need to buy an instrument before your first lesson. The school rents drum sets, acoustic and electric guitars and electric basses, and your teacher can advise on what to buy for piano and other instruments. Start with a free trial lesson.

Lessons and rates

Lessons are $40 for 30 minutes, $55 for 45 minutes and $70 for 60 minutes, billed in four-lesson cycles. There are no registration or administration fees, and music lessons are not subject to tax. Your first lesson is a free trial.
